Submission of photocopy of the ECHS Smart Card alongwith application for issue of Duplicate Card henceforth will not be a must though it will still be desirable for speedy issue of duplicate Smart Cards. However the applicant should give details of old lost cards for early processing. If he cannot provide the details he be told that issue of New Smart Cards will take longer time.
