It has been realized that policy issued vide our ibid letter has NOT been taken in correct spirit and few persons are taking undue advantage for instance, a case has been reported than an ESM pensioner showed his dependant parents as per the policy quoted in the ibid letter and availed facilities for his points on the basing ECHS Application receipt issued by Stn HQ. However, on verification by the Regional Centre ECHS from the concerned Record Office, it was revealed that the applicants parents names were not existing in his record of service which is an attempt of falsification of documents. Necessary action is being taken against the ESM pensioner.
In view of the above our letter reference may please be treated as cancelled.
Hence forth NO repeat NO ECHS Application will be accepted without verification/Part II Order dependents from respective Service Headquarters (Army HQ(MP5/6, MPRS(O)), NHQ(PDOP), Air HQ (DPS) for Officers and Record offices/CABS/AFRO for PBOR for verification.
